Reset in Synthesim

Hi Tony

Does Sable have the equivalent of the two reset buttons that Vensim has in synthesim mode? One is the 'rest current slider to base model val (Home)' and the other is the 'reset all constants/lookups to base model vals (Ctrl+Home)'

Not at the moment (but I will request it as it needs to be done in the Vensim engine).

Thanks Tony. If you have any ideas of a workaround so that I can make it easy for clients to remember and reset sliders to their base values that would be great.

Hi Tony

Did you get a response to this one? I am interested, as not having that facility does make it more difficult for clients to use the models. When they've changed a value they have no way of knowing, in the interface, what the original or baseline value was. I'm trying to make my models as easy as possible for clients to use and this would facilitate that enormously. Currently, I simply put in a text statement by the slider showing the baseline value, which is a bit clunky although it does work
