Setting Y axis maximum on the graph tool

Post by rdudley »

Just wondering if there is a way I can tell the graph tool to use a larger than default Y axis maximum (and maybe a minimum too).

I find that I can trick Vensim into doing this :-) but I'd rather just be able to make a series of graphs with the same y axis (for comparison).

Not with normal graphs. You will need to use custom graphs to do this.

But there may be a shortcut that helps. Select the first parameter you want to display, hold the shift key down and select the 2nd/2nd/nth. Now click the graph tool. It should display all of them on the same graph. If you right click the graph tool, there are options near the bottom of the dialog to change the scales (you can set all to display on the same scale). Does this help at all?
