Dear sir/ madam,
I got the following warning:
WARNING: The variable - X - is a delay requiring more than 5000 levels.
To get this warning I delayed(fixed) a variable for 52 weeks ( units for time is set in weeks, time step is 0.0078125). From my perspective this is not a problem it just cost more time to make a run. Even so i am a little bit careful when it comes to delays, because they can be tricky. My question is than also:
Is there more to this warning than i notice their is?
WARNING:delay requiring more than 5000 levels
Re: WARNING:delay requiring more than 5000 levels
Your delay implies 52/.0078125 = 6656 discrete levels, hence the warning. It's possible that this is necessary, but 6656th order delays aren't exactly common. We'd have to know more about your model to know whether this is sensible or not.
