Hi
I just got the email re version 6 and installed the new version (DSS version). I tested it with a model I was working on that took data from excel. I kept getting an error message "Unable to read the file.....[directory string].../Data Input Sheet.xlsx as an Excel file (sst).."
I have no idea what the (sst).. refers to. I reinstalled version 5.11a and all works fine.

Are you able to email the offending spreadsheet so I can test?
There have been a lot of excel changes in the new version, we must have broken something.

Re: Model error message in version 6.0 (DSS)
Hello David,
Thanks for this. I've found where it is failing, but not sure yet how to actually fix it.
If you can change instances of " in your sheet to something like "As above", it should import fine (Baseline and Adjustors tabs).
The quote is causing problems. We are expecting a second quote to close the string which is obviously not appearing. I'll have a fix ready soon though.
