I am a graduate student in education at Queens University, Ontario Canada.
In the fall I will be moving to Anchorage Alaska to teach at an
independent middle school. I am a strong supporter in integrating the
system approach to learning at the middle school and secondary level and
enjoy using STELLA. I would like to take 2-3 graduate courses in systems
thinking via long distance methods (I will be living in Anchorage). I have
Bachelors degree in mathematics as well as a bachelors degree in education.
My masters degree is in math, science and technology education with a
focus on system dynamics in curriculum and instruction.

Jay Forrester and some MIT students are writing a self-study guide to
learning system dynamics that may be useful to you. The series is called
"Road Maps" and is written for STELLA. The first 7 chapters are available
from our home page at:

Click on Road Maps.

Chapter 8 should be completed near the end of July. Wed appreciate
hearing from you if you decide to this method of self study.
