Hi there,
we are working with data that is not normal, which means that we would like to use the distribution created by historical data, and rather than have this held to a given time interval , we would like to keep the distribution shape and size but alter the time series. does vensim have a function to do this. I have created the solution in excel and now want to apply this to vensim, all suggestions welcomed

Not quite sure what you seek here - do you mean that you want to preserve the distribution of points, but reshuffle their order? (In that case, VECTOR REORDER might be useful.)
You might also look at RANDOM LOOKUP.
