SKETCH in Venapp and SETWB

Hi!

I would need a suggestion.
I have a slide with the sketch tool and the command SETWB that updates the name of the workbench variable (WBVAR).
This works great.

I have a button to show the Causes tree as pop-up. But, if I click on a cause variable, I change the WB and the slide will be reloaded, causing the disappearing of the pop-up.

If I choose not to show the WBVAR, after having double-clicked the sketch, I don't know wich variable is selected. (I have to think to a dummy user).

How could I get the selected variable highlighted or the pop-up opened as soon as I double-click on the sketch?

Can you upload the screen so we can take a look? I'm struggling to understand what you are attempting to do.
