I have bought the book : Modelling Dynamic Economic Systems by Ruth and Hannon. The models in the book are Stella models which I have downloaded. I am working through the book and converting (trying to ) to Vensim models. Although similar concepts are used in both language the implementation tend to differ, what would be the equivalent of the OVEN stock in vensim. In Stella OVENs process discrete batches of objects, much like ovens in a bakery, they receive a number of objects over a period of time, retain them for some time and unload them all in a instant. OVENs have a cook time and a capacity of objects that it can receive.
What can I use in vensim to get the equivalent behaviour?

I'd assume you would need one of the following.
Batch delays, http://www.vensim.com/documentation/ind ... delays.htm
Conveyors, http://www.vensim.com/documentation/ind ... veyors.htm
Queues, http://www.vensim.com/documentation/ind ... _queue.htm
