How to model Center of Area in vensim PLE?

Hi,

I am using Vensim PLE and trying to integrate Fuzzy logic into my previously developed model.
Now, the problem is how to implement the Center of Area as the defuzzification method. there is a paper: "Fuzzy modeling of linguistic variables in a system dynamics context" using this method in vensim and explains how it is implemented but I can't understand. Maybe they used other version of Vensim.
I would appreciate if you can help me to implement the COA in PLE version of Vensim.
