Information Delay

Hi to all,

Please excuse me for asking a very basic question, I have read some materials (Business dynamic) for Delay functions, But I'm still struggling in understanding of delay. can anyone help me in this regard? I know the differences between Information delay and material delay. However, I don't know how to implement in a actual case. I am looking for a simple model that shows how delay works.

Have you looked at the sample model that ships with Vensim? Is that any use?

There might also be a molecule that demonstrates it as well.

I actually read the sample models came with the Vensim software. Of course they are very helpful in understanding the different types of delays. However, these models are very small, I am looking for a bigger model that demonstrates the effects of delay function.
