Dear Administrator,
I am writing a research report on SD modeling, and would like to cite
good reasons why I used Vensim as a simulation environment. One of them is that Vensim
offers discount for governmental (Public Research) use (as shown in
attachment).
My question:
Should I specify the price of Vensim PLE for Public Research Use as
"zero" or "-"?
Best regards,
MT

Re: Software Price
Just to clarify, we do not have a price for government use. "Public research" is not government. Most government departments purchase a commercial licence as they cannot agree to the restrictions in place on a public research licence. Public research use is defined in section 6 of the licence at http://vensim.com/license/.
Vensim PLE is free for academic and public research use.
