Hi Guys,
I'm a new with the Vensim. I would like to know where I am wrong, because I plot the chart but the line does not appear.
I have attached the image.
Thanks,

Re: I plot the chart but the line does not appear
What do you get if you use the table tool?

Re: I plot the chart but the line does not appear
I want to get a graph / table showing the total demand for water (Urban demand + irrigation).
Re: I plot the chart but the line does not appear
Are you reading any time series data from excel?
Re: I plot the chart but the line does not appear
If you are using GET DATA function to import the time series data, then this is the cause. VENSIM does not recognize excel dates. A way I found around this is: in the model settings select a base date (when time =0) to correspond to a date prior to the first date in your excel. Then number the dates in your excel from say 1 to 100. Your initial time under model setting is 1 and final time is 100. Enter the same values under the control panel. Check time as date in the control panel and that should fix it. I am assuming with the above configuration that your time step is say day and your dates in excel are continuous, ie no missing date.
Re: I plot the chart but the line does not appear
Let VENSIM read the numbers rather than the dates
Re: I plot the chart but the line does not appear
I modified the comma in the numbers of the irrigation database and got the graph with the row / table with values. However, it did not add up to the urban demand, ie the water demand graph is only with the irrigation data.

Re: I plot the chart but the line does not appear
Can you upload the model? It's impossible to really help with just screen shots.

Re: I plot the chart but the line does not appear
I've been able to solve the problem. Problem of standardization of the comma.
Thanks,
