Hello,
We aim to distribute Vensim model(s) that
need xls file(s) as input.
The Vensim models are for people in developing countries
and for education. We assume they could not afford commercial versions of Vensim.
Because xls connection need commercial versions of Vensim,
what are our options other than "VensimReaders"?.
Can we connect other data types using free Vensim version(s)?
Cheers,
FREE connection between xls and Vensim

The Vensim model reader is the only free option.
What kind of data do you have? If it's simple, you could import it as a lookup table and use that.

Re: FREE connection between xls and Vensim
We have a long time-series data (monthly data).
Like monthly temperature from 01/2020 until 12/2050.

Distributing a packaged model with a redistributor's license is one option. Another might be to use Ventity, which has a low license fee ($100/yr).
