p.s. In the Peer Tutoring Session on Friday, Karim reminded us that we should document (else we'll lament!) what we think before running our models.

It made me think of Prof. Petruccelli, who warned me about data snooping. He also collected a bunch of statistics/science/modeling quotes and shared them with me. He is professor emeritus of math/statistics...and was the only professor I had in undergrad who recorded lectures even though we were in the class with him too. He did it for people who missed class...which is common since people tend to get sick during that term/quarter (WPI undergrad is on a quarter system), have job interviews, etc. How times have changed...recording seems to be the new normal.

Anyway, if you have any SD/ST quotes, please share them with me or https://twitter.com/SysSoundbites ...I am not sure who runs that Twitter account.
