The help file for MENU>VDF2XLSX just refers to MENU>VDF2Tab. Hence it is not clear if the excel version of the command has additional possibilities compared to the tab version.
Excel-files can have multiple sheets. When using command scripts for exporting data to xlsx from several runs, it would be very handy to have these runs not as separate xlsx files but as separate sheets in one xlsx file. I wonder if that is already possible.
If not: you may treat this as a feature request;-)

It's not already possible. I'm not sure if the library we use to create XLSX files allows appending to an existing file. I've raised it as a feature request so will let you know as soon as it is looked into in detail.

It's been a while since I've done this, but isn't it possible if you use a .frm file?
