Is it possible to switch the sketch to the oldest presentation that was in used some years before and used less place, allowing more place for the model equations?

Not sure what you mean by "more place for the equations" - usually the equations and sketch are not simultaneously visible. Are you simply looking for more compact bounding boxes on the diagram? View>Size to Text helps with that.

i mean more place for the sketch, because the old guy used less place on the screen for the tools.

I don't understand. There is as much space as before. Are you aware you can undock things like the control panel? Right click on the control panel button and you can configure it to start floating.
