Erased variables
Erased variables
Variables that were "erased" rather than deleted are still listed although not used. How can they be deleted permanently?
Re: Erased variables
Whether variables remain in the model depends on user choice - when you delete a variable with the delete key, a dialog asks whether to remove them from the model or only the current view.
You can find these variables by opening the Control Panel > Variables tab, and selecting the "orphans" filter. Then you can edit the equation, and use the Delete Variable button to remove the orphan.
Another option is to text-edit the .mdl file.

Re: Erased variables
Many thanks tomfid.Problem solved.
Easiest way is to open the mdl file in Notepad or equivalent, and find the orphans.
