Error messages, Update needed

hello, i have a problem with my vensim Ple, i can not open it anymore, i am only getting error messages and i don’t know how to update it.
The error messages are saying: „Aborting, invalid installation“ and „Vensim Program Error, read_ini_file“
I hope you can help me,

Are you on Mac or Windows?
