Exporting from Vensim to SVG (vector graphics) is a cool feature that I am thankful for.
However, when exporting a CLD that contains loop identifiers using the avalanche and scale pictures, the export results in not only an SVG file but also in png files for every one of these avalanche and scale pictures. That makes transforming the SVG to pdf for dissemination very cumbersome.
In addition, the pixelish pngs do not look very nice, neither in Vesim nor in the export.
Unfortunately for my purpose using letters B / R or +/- is not an option due to the target group of the GMB workshops.
I would suggest switching these pictures to vector graphics inside of vensim too, if possible.

Can you share an example?
The internal clipart is all SVG now, but they do render to a bitmap for drawing. I can look at embedding SVG images instead, not sure how that might work though.

I have atttached an example. Try exporting this as svg. Then you will see that the snowball and the scale are exported as separate png files. Vensim 10.2.1

I don't think there is anything we can do about including the images in the SVG export.
