subscripts

Post by tsitsibangira »

Hi,

How do I delete the SONGWE and MALI subscripts such that I can only work with INKOMATI in all the equations of the models (see the attached file). Am using VENSIM PRO.

Do delete subscript elements, click the "Edit range" button. The equation editor will be displayed, you can delete them from there.

Thanks. How do I delete the associated variables that are linked with the deleted subranges? Once I delete the subranges I got errors associated with deleted subranges.

Can you upload the model? Impossible to help without seeing the errors and the equations that include them.

Sometimes it's easier to do this kind of thing in the text editor, because you can search for the offending strings and then manually delete the associated variables or elements.
