"Sensitivity2All" for selected constants only

Post by MarvinK »

Is there a way to include only selected constants in "Sensitivity2All"? I've created a number of variables in my model to read in constants or time series data from an Excel spreadsheet or to implement policy scenarios and "activate" them ("policy sliders"). However, I would like to exclude these from Sensitivity2All and only include those that are part of the actual model structure. This would be really helpful!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Best wishes, Marvin.

On the Advanced tab of the sens2all setup dialog, you can specify a savelist that excludes nuisance parameters:

Thanks for your quick reply!

I was using the "Sensitivty2All" from the toolbox where these options aren't available. I can now see them via the simulation controls.

However, when I try to run Sensitivity2All for selected variables, Vensim keeps showing the process window including the little animation with the blue squares, but otherwise freezes. I then have to forcefully close Vensim via the task manager. Any ideas?

I'm using DSS 10.3.2 (multi-core) on Windows 11 Pro.

Sorry for the slow reply.

Can you email/upload the config you are using? I've tried experimenting here and am not seeing the same behaviour you are (Vensim freezing).
