SD2374 responded to a similar question. You can find this post at

If you search on this site for "discrete" you will find a number of items on
this subject.

What is system dynamics?

Post by Rahul Lanjewar »

Hi!
Looking at the current discussion, I am faced with a more fundamental doubt.
What is the key difference between System Dynamics and Discrete event
simulation? Does the presence of feedback loop/loops only signify that the
modelling is System Dynamics or is there something else?
Would be grateful if someone could resolve this confusion for me.

Thanks
Rahul
