Infectious Disease / Immune System Modeling
Location: Los Alamos National Laboratory
Theoretical Biology and Biophysics Group

The successful candidate will join a group headed by Alan Perelson
that typically consists of 1-2 graduate students and 2-3 postdocs.
The group interacts with 3-4 other senior staff interested in
infectious disease and immune system modeling and collaborates
extensively with experimentalists in the development of models
relevant to cutting edge HIV, hepatitis and influenza research.
Summer students and visiting faculty are frequently part of the group.
Familiarity with differential equations, computer simulations, and
statistics is needed. Knowledge of immunology and virology would
also be desirable.
