Will Excel Addins ever be accessible ?

Currently users can access data from spreadsheets; will this functionality ever expand to the point where Excel Addins can be called from within Vensim ?

This can be done by using external functions and communicating with Excel using DDE to force it to, in turn, reference it's addin. You may also be able to configure Excel to reference its addins when it is queried for value via a GET XLS DATA or GET XLS CONSTANTS call though that would need to be researched. We have no plans to try to give direct access to addins developed to work with Excel.
