equation reading data from an excel spreadsheet

I wanted to know if there is a formula or equation or a way where the equation of a variable in vensim is such that it will take the value from a table in an excel spreadsheet?

You can use GET XLS CONSTANTS, GET XLS LOOKUPS and GET XLS DATA to get values from Excel.
