Posted by ""Rushing, William M LT Human Performance Center"" <william.rushing@navy.mil> What is the best way to solicit and receive Causal Loop Diagrams (CLD) for use on an internal educational webpage? I am in the U.S. Navy assigned to a Modeling and Simulation Department. I created an internal webpage in order to help educate personnel in Causal Loop Diagramming.
I would like to receive CLD models that can be reviewed and studied.
Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
Will Rushing
Lieutenant, U.S. Navy

QUERY Pedagogical Causal Loop Diagrams

Will,
I'm not 100% sure of what you're asking; perhaps you can clarify.
Since you mentioned a Web page below, perhaps it would be useful to create a common space where you and others can draw CLDs or other diagrams and share them. For example, both MoinMoin
(http://moinmoin.wikiwikiweb.de/) and TWiki use the TWikiDrawPlugin to let people draw in a Wiki; perhaps that would be helpful? Even if you don't incorporate that plugin, many Wikis can be configured to let you import an image or other file.
Does that help? Or were you inquiring more into how you persuade people to do it?
