SLIDEVAR(TIE)

Hello!

I have a question concerning the Venapp control SLIDEVARTIE. As stated in the DSS Reference Supplement you can check the SLIDEVAR values against a static value.

Is there any possibility to check them against a dynamic value or variable?

I would love to have a SHOWVAR control as a slide bar, which changes its value when changes of the SLIDEVAR values will be executed.

Maybe it is easier if I try to explain a little bit further what I mean. I have funds calculated in the model which can be allocated to different improvement programs. In the game these allocations can be done with SLIDEVAR controls. It would be very elegant if the possible allocations would be done in the fashion described above so that a revenues slide bar would go to zero when the player increases his budget for improvement programs. Any idea for an (easy) implementation for that?:)

The sum used in a SLIDEVARTIE can only be a number. It often works is to allocate a percent of the budget to different activities - where the percents add to 100. I can't think of a way to let them use budget amounts directly except to test afterward if the total budget has been exceeded.
