conveyer leakage -- can be a delay?

Post by rdudley »

Since I've been getting such good advice on this forum I thought I would ask another question.

If I have the stock with a conveyor and outflow is it possible to have the leakage from that stock also be a delay?

In this case the stock is an employment category and people being promoted to the next category must remain in the stock for ex-number of years.

However there is also retirement from the stock which could be, in this case, a regular exponential decline. But I'm wondering if the leakage from a conveyor can be something else. And if so how can it be formulated.

Hi

All good things do not last ever, unless you know to limit
your questions.
You ask too many things at the same time.
Ask first a simple thing about your problem and preferably with a simplistic model attached. May be somebody will answer.
Regards.
