Models for S-Shaped Growth, with Decay

There is material about models for s-shaped growth, including s-shaped
growth followed by decay, on my system dynamics web page at the following URL:

On that web page, Chapter 4 (Basic Feedback Structures) of "System Dynamics
Methods: A Quick Introduction" discusses models for s-shaped growth, both
without and with decay. Also, "New Product Dynamics: Illustrative System
Dynamics Models" discusses several s-shaped growth models and includes some
material on estimating parameters for such models. (However, this does not
discuss the situation with decay.)
