Third Annual Strategy Dynamics Workshop

For information and reservations for this event contact Andrea Albertson
by email <andrea@strategydynamics.com>, phone +44-01844-275518, or fax

Strategy Dynamics will be offering a workshop again this year on the
fundamentals and application of the Strategy Dynamics approach, led by
Kim
Warren and Rod Brown. We expect to change the format of this event by
adding some new material, rendering it of interest to the many that have
attended in the past. Innovative and practical, the Strategy Dynamics
approach has received praise from practitioners, educators and trainers
alike. Topics will include: an overview of Strategy Dynamics, the
resource-based view, creating strategic architectures, and pedagogical
issues regarding Strategy Dynamics. This year we will be offering a
break
out session in an effort to accommodate issues confronted by both
practitioners and educators in the application of Strategy Dynamics. The
workshop will immediately follow the System Dynamics annual conference
in
Palermo; the first session will be on the afternoon of August 1, and the
second session will be the following morning. As a word of warning,
please
do not hesitate in signing up, as with the release of Kims new book
Competitive Strategy Dynamics prior to the conference, this workshop is
likely to fill up quickly!

This workshop will accommodate up to 60 participants. There will be a
participant cost to cover operating expenses at the conference site. The
hours of this workshop are Thursday 1:30 pm - 6 pm, Friday 9 am - 2 pm.

Participants should bring laptop computer (if you have one). This course
is classified for "everyone," no special prerequisites required.
Participants will receive the slide deck and demonstration materials on
CD.

Please note: The conference organizing committee reserves the right to
change the program without notice.
