Hello,

I am a SD student and working on master thesis on the topic of Portfolio
Management. My emphasis (level of aggregation) is on multi-product business
unit and I want to model Product Life Cycle (fluctuations in product
performance and limited life) in detail. My objective is to design business
units Resource Allocation Policies for portfolio of products (keeping in
view the distinction of new product versus improved existing product, and
timing of launch of these products) and their impact on business unit short
term or/and long term performance measures such as profitability, market
share. Resource allocation policies should, then, help formulate
appropriate functional level strategies.

I would appreciate you giving me any reference, link, model, and
suggestions. Any case study reference can also work fine.
