Postdoctoral research position
The University of Manitoba (Facility for Intelligent Decision Support in Water Resources-FIDS)
FIDS invites applications for a postdoctoral research position in the area of System Dynamics modeling. The position will involve implementation of SD modeling approach to assessment of the impact of climate variability and change on the reliability, resiliency and vulnerability of complex flood protection systems. The main trust of the research will be devoted to the development of a dynamic hydro-climatological assessment model to be used to suggest possible adaptation strategies to maintain efficient flood protection over a broad geographic region. Data from the Red River Basin will be used in this study.
