A model of Inter-Organisational Relationships

We are in the process of designing a model of inter-organisational
relationships to capture the dynamics that underpin the development and
maintainance of constructive relationships.
The model aims to capture the essence of developing common purpose and the
platform of trust required for the process of value exchange, value
negotiation, minimising transaction costs etc.
It is based on work done in developing customer / supplier relationships,
"cross boundary" (organisation, function, team) collaboration, contract
negotiation etc. but is applicable to purposeful relationships anywhere
I would be interested hearing from anyone who has done work in this area....
