Greetings...

After having worked with System Dynamics at MIT, I find myself in Kiev,
Ukraine working in energy consulting.

I would like to know if anyone is aware of any System Dynamics practioners
in the Ukraine, especially in Kiev.

It would also not hurt to learn about those in Moscow, as it is not so far away.

Jim,

in Moscow there is Instiute for Systems Studies (not far from
Profsoiuznaya metro station). Back in 80s (the place was called VNIISI) they
worked with models of world dynamics, also made simulations of
ecosystems, production systems, etc. Then, some of these people moved to
the Institute of National Economic Forecasting (the social-economic
modeling wing). These two places, together with TsEMI (Central
Economic-Mathematical Institute) are the best, in my opinion.
Cant say mush about Kiev. Perhaps, the Institute of Cybernetics of the
Ukrainian Academy of Sciences is the place to start.
