Dear System Dynamics Community,

I read Bill Godfreys mail about his database of books on management of
change (http://webtrax.com.au/BB/BookWatch.bbd). Quite a comprehensive
list with relevant comments, my compliments for the efforts. One book
which caught my attention was "The Systems Thinking Playbook" by Linda
Booth and I wonder if anyone can point me in the direction of this work.

Re: Publishers
Both are in a sense correct. The Turning Point Foundation is the
publisher, Pegasus is a distributor.

The games cover each of Senges "Five Disciplines". I have tried several
of them with groups and found them very useful. They range from very short
and simple introductions to a theme, such as balancing tubes to demonstrate
the importance of time horizon (I remember an entire plenary group at one
of the Systems Thinking Conferences trying to balance peacock feathers on
their finger - representing one heck of a lot of moulted peacocks), through
to a couple of ball games which I have found extremely useful as an active
introduction to mapping a simple system. Linda Booth Sweeney and Dennis
Meadows run programs based round the book from time to time and they are
very good value.
