Urban development vision propogation

Dear colleagues, is anyone working in the area of modeling how the urban
development vision develops and spreads? We have got a three year grant
to investigate such a phenomena and of course intend to model these
processes.
We seek for folks in thei field. Thanks for your time and consideration,
