I am working on a model with many views, each view with a specific excel lookup table. I would like to make sure I call up the correct excel data for each view by running each view individually and seeing which spreadsheets are opened? Is this possible or is there a better to test for accuracy?

Simulating a single view won't give you any information - all the excel files will be open.

I would recommend poulating each of the excel sheets with different patterns (or values if constants are being used) then simulating the model and just looking at behavior in heach view (View>Show Behavior). Hopefully this will make any anomolies quickly visible.
