ANNOUNCE Call for Papers on SD Applications in Finance

Dear Fellow System Dynamicists,
The German financial services industry rarely uses system dynamics for
facilitating strategic decisions. There are certainly several reasons for
this. One of them is probably that there are only few and dispersed examples
of system dynamics applications in the finance industry. Moreover, no German
system dynamics textbook does exist. Therefore, Jürgen Sehnert and I plan to
edit a book on system dynamics for the financial services industry. The book
will contain four parts (subject to changes):
Part I Introduction to System Dynamics and History
Part II The System Dynamics Method
Part III Software for System Dynamics Modeling and Simulation
Part IV Application of System Dynamics to the Financial Service Industry
(and to Problems in Finance)
For parts III and IV, we are short of articles. If you have carried out some
good system dynamics work in the finance area and if you would like to
publish it in our book in Germany, please let us know as soon as possible.
If you know someone, who might be interested in publishing his work, please
provide us with the contact details.
The textbook will be written in German; however, we would be glad to
translate English articles.
