Hi,


I'm trying to connect Vensim 5.3 with an SQL SERVER database.

The problem that I have is that the Connection statement wasn't add by the insert>ODBC Connection, as in the example of the DSS Reference.

I did the same practice with Access, and it works nice.


Could anybody tell me, what is the statement to connect a SQL SERVER database using DSN?

One example of the info that I'm using is in the attachement.

You will need to grab a more current Vensim (5.4a or later) - SQL Server has a nonstandard return value on queries that was fooling earlier version into thinking the query had failed.
