UML and System Dynamics

Hello!

I've been studying UML (Unified Modeling Language) for software design
purposes, and many notions and diagrams remind me of System Dynamics
(e.g. system structure, state and behavior, object diagrams, activity
diagrams, etc.).

I was wondering whether anyone is already familiar with UML, and what
articles, books, or other types of publications might exist that relate
SD and UML.

There are many UML books in the market but none in Vila Real bookshops
yet I plan to search for SD entries in some of those books, hoping
that search engines allow for that. Has anyone done this search yet?

I attempted to apply UML to SD modeling as indicated in the references
below:

Tignor, W. (2004). System engineering and system dynamics models.
Proceedings of 22nd International Conference of the System Dynamics Society.

relationships. Proceedings of 21st International Conference of the System
