Shadow variables disappear

I built a model wit a shadow variable and a lookup. Both nodes became invisible (they are still in the model). How do I make them reappear?

First Press Key H for make visible all the variable in the sketch.
With the tool "unhide wand" in the Sketch toolset click once in each variable for apply the tool.

thank you for your reply. I am working with PLE and don't have a magic wand. what do mean press key H?

Go to Models>Settings and on the Sketch tab make sure that show lookups is marked.
Try edit>Select All then click on the first color button (usually this shows as a black button) along the bottom toolbar and set everything to the default color - or another color.
If neither of those works the sketch must have been damaged somehow. You will need to bring the variable back to a view with the shadow variable tool -In PLE to make it a real variable you will need to delete the variable and then add it again.
