Study at the foot of the master is great, but even though there are twice as
many feet as masters, they are still scarce. (George R, pls. excuse the
levity.)
Even when there are no masters around, however, Johns advice holds. In my
experience, SD "rookies" both learn and do faster (and better) in pairs than
on their own.
So, find someone else to work with.
