Posted by ""Brian Dangerfield"" <B.C.Dangerfield@salford.ac.uk> The System Dynamics Review is now fully incorporated into
Wiley's online manuscript submission system: Manuscript Central.
This means that from now on authors can submit manuscripts only
via this online system. Any manuscripts sent direct to myself or
my Managing Editors will be returned with a request that the online
system be used.
All is explained in the revised Notes for Authors on the SD Review
page of the Wiley InterScience site. The easiest way to get there is
via the link for authors on the SD Society's ""Publications"" page.
Please note the following:
* Under the new system authors will be able to track the progress
of their submissions
* There is a different style of manuscript layout required for (i) initial
submission and (ii) revisions when acceptance is thought likely.
* The Copyright Transfer Agreement (CTA) form is required to be
sent to Wiley by postal mail / airmail but only when/if the paper is
accepted.
* Models & data have to be uploaded as Supplemental Material
where the paper is based upon a model or empirical analysis. This
material is needed by the reviewers.
* During the uploading process authors are given the option of
nominating a referee(s). However, editors are not obliged to utilise
any of the names put forward.
I and my editorial colleagues look forward to the many benefits of
this new system and trust that it will encourage a strong flow of
submitted manuscripts.
Best wishes for 2006 to one & all.
