Call for Workshop Proposal for HICSS

Post by Jochen Scholl »

As many of you may know, at the annual HICSS conference we have a minitrack
focusing on SD -based research. The call for papers for the 2003 minitrack
will appear shortly on this listserv.

Since the interest in System Dynamics among participants of HICSS is rising
(as paper submissions and session attendance suggest), it seems to be the
right time for proposing a half-day tutorial dedicated to System Dynamics.
At HICSS, tutorials and workshops are held the day before the 3-day paper
sessions begin. These tutorials are well attended and are a wonderful
opportunity for presenting the key concepts of a discipline to people from
other fields.

I intend to propose a SD-focused, half-day (=3 hrs.) tutorial for the 2003
conference.

I would be pleased having at least two other system dynamicists who join me
in this endeavor. Please consider your active participation and contact me
for further details.

Below I am enclosing Eileen Denniss original Call for Proposals.
