Hello,
I am new in VENSIM but have developed two separate models for two different processes and now i would like to merge them in one single model (two views).
How can i do that?
thanks

If it is just two views you have, select all from one view (CTRL-A), copy, then paste into the other model. Make sure both models are open in Vensim though.

Open the first model, use Edit>Select All, then Edit>Copy then open the second model, start a new view and use Edit>PAste - answer Replicate if you are given a choice.

If there were no name conflicts you are done - if there are name conflicts you will need to do some cleanup.

thanks Bob,
but the "paste" option is not activated (it is grey).
I did think that the settigns might be conflicting, but i changed them and still not working. I have try all the possible combinations (e.g. paste model 1 into 2, inverse, copy-close-open-paste, copy-paste with the two models open, etc) but still not working.
Any suggestions to get the paste option activated?
cheers

You need to open each of the models in the same instance of Vensim - that means FILE>OPEN the first model, then select and copy, then File>Open the second model (probably closing the first) then Edit>Paste.

It won't work if you have each model open in a different Vensim window.
