I have a stock (e.g. population) and am setting the initial level to a constant variable (e.g. initial population).

I connect the constant to the stock using an arrow.

When I set the stock initial level to this constant in the equation editor the arrow disappears from view. I am unable to see/select this arrow but it still remains in the background somewhere.

Is this standard?

Under Model>Settings>Sketch there is a checkbox that specifies whether or not you want to see initial arrows.
