I installed Vensim version 5.4 d. on my work computer (Microsoft Windows XP Professional, Version 2002, Sercive Pack 3, Intel Core 2 Duo CPU)

I have a big problem : an error message appear when I try to :
- "save to" a model
- "open" a model
- "export"
- load an analysis tools
- load a sketch tools
- choose a molecule.mdl ...
... and close definitly Vensim.
This bug always occurs when a window "browse" appear.

We uninstall and install again and again changing the name, the place, the version (when have the version 5.4 a licence) ... It doesn't work.
But installing the same package an other computer this bug doesn't exist.

So I think there's something in my new computer which makes this bug.

Do you have an idea ?

What does the error message say?

It says :

Vensim DSS a rencontré un problème et doit être fermé. Nous vous prions de nous excuser pour le désagrément encouru.
Si vous étiez en train d'effectuer une tâche, les informations sur lesquelles vous travailler peuvent avoir été perdues"
Débogage Fermer

.... so something like
" Vensim DSS has a problem and have to close. We are sorry about this inconvenience.
If you was working, may informations be lost "
"Debug" Close


Anyway if you clik on "debug" ou "close", Vensim close immediately.

I have to try why 5.9.d ... but I have to wait the company buys it.
