Vensim PLE - arrows disapear

Hello all together,

I have a question regarding the latest Vensim PLE version.

I am working through the materials and examples of the Modelling Guide and just now, when I was programming the chapter 3 model, the arrow from "initial project definitions" to "Work Remaining" is not displayed.

When checking the variables of "Work remaining", the "initial project definitions" is not displayed anymore, but when creating a new arrow the tool says:
There is an existing connection.

Does anybody have an idea why this might be?
Would be nice to see all connections!

EDIT: Restart of Vensim doesn't solve the problem.

go to model,settings,sketch and check 'show initial causes on model idagram'. The arrow will then appear on the model diagram.
