I am trying to build molecules with no luck. Previously I was told to save a model in the molecules folder and use the tool bar to add it as molecule to Vensim. But I am unable to save my model in the molecules folder in the Vensim installation folder.
Can anyone guide me in creating and using molecules?. I have a very complex model and I want to have a variable for each section of the model in one view showing their logical relationships. And clicking the variable should open the corresponding independent model like the one used for molecules demonstration.
Is it possible? Can we add our own molecules? I am willing to share additional information. Please do guide me.

Information on Molecules
If you want your model to run as a whole, you don't want to make molecules (though you might use them).
I think what you want is to set up a navigation screen for your model, that links the high-level structure to the various detailed sectors' sketches.
To do that, use sketch comments rather than variables (see "Sketch Comments" in the help index). An example is in the first view of this model:
