Hi All,

Somebody was asking me about system dynamics and about the model which I build and the equations behind it, as the discussion was from where I bring this models? is it start with mathematics or statistics and end like that?

so what should I reply?

This kind of discussion can go on and on, and I'm sure you can find some info in the SD mailing list archives (http://www.ventanasystems.co.uk/forum/v ... m.php?f=34).

But if it helps, I think of SD as trying to understand the "whole system". Mathematics comes into it, but the goal really is to understand a system. Models can help, but so can lots of other things.
